    • PRODUCT INFO

      "End Grain" cutting boards are what you get when you shrink down a butcher block. Beacuse wood grain grows vertically within the trunk and longways in the branches, these boards are basically a cross section of that. Think of trees like a bundle of straws. It would be easier (and softer on the sharp edge of a knife) to slide a blade down into those straws than it would to try to force the blade in from the side.  These are THE cutting boards you should consider if you fancy yourself a chef.

       

      Juice Grooves are the carved channels that prevent juices from getting on your counter or table while slicing fruits or meat. If you plan on using your cutting board further away from your sink, a juice groove is a nice feature to have!
